It introduces new User Profile configurations that allow organizations to define working hours, inspection capacity, and inspection specialties, helping staff make more informed assignment decisions.
 

How does the Inspections Assignment Suggestions and Warnings feature work?

Platform users can enable and configure Assignment Suggestions directly within User Profiles.

Once enabled:

• Staff can define:
  • Working hours (availability by day and time)
  • Inspection capacity (how many inspections a user should handle per day)
  • Inspection types (which inspections a user typically performs)
• When assigning an inspection:
  • A new Suggested section appears in the assignment menu
  • Suggested users are based on:
    • Availability (working hours and capacity)
    • Inspection type experience
• Suggested users may include visual indicators explaining why they are recommended
• If a user is assigned outside of their typical configuration, warnings will appear, such as:
  • Assignment outside of working hours
  • Exceeding capacity limits
  • Mismatch with typical inspection type

Staff can still proceed with any assignment, even if warnings are shown.

Previously, assignment decisions relied heavily on manual knowledge and coordination.

This feature improves the assignment process by:

• Helping staff quickly identify the most suitable inspectors

• Providing visibility into staff availability and workload
• Maintaining flexibility while guiding better decision-making

How do I get access to this feature?

This feature is standard and will be available in the product immediately upon release.

Platform users can enable and configure Assignment Suggestions within User Profiles and will see suggestions and warnings when assigning inspections.
